On February 28th, 2022, the Slovak government approved the provision of temporary refuge to citizens of Ukraine and their family members. For a third – country national to whom the Ministry, based on a decision of the Government of the Slovak Republic, provided temporary refuge, the term displaced person (refugee) is used.
